Thu Chit Khin is a seasoned Burmese floral designer with over eight years of experience in creating bespoke floral arrangements for a wide range of occasions, including weddings, pre-wedding photoshoots, and large-scale events. In 2015, she founded her own floral shop, Fleur De Lys, in Yangon, where she established a thriving business, collaborating with wedding planners, prestigious agencies, public figures, and prominent brands. Her dedication to her craft led her to enhance her expertise in 2018, completing Wedding and Events Arrangement and Advanced Floral Design courses at Flower School LA, under the guidance of renowned floral designer Calvert Crary. In 2021, Thu relocated from Burma, arriving in the United States in 2022. After spending six months in Los Angeles, where she worked with FTD Floral and Teleflora, she moved to New York in November 2022. Thu is currently a full-time floral designer at Brooklyn Blooms in Brooklyn, New York. Additionally, she has freelanced for esteemed brands such as Flower Box, Rosalila, and Designs By Ahn, further establishing her presence in New York City’s vibrant floral design scene. In 2025, Thu took a major step in advancing her career by opening The Burmese Cat Floral Studio in Brooklyn, New York. This new venture allows her to fully realize her vision of offering unique floral arrangements and event designs to a diverse clientele. With her extensive experience and deep commitment to her craft, Thu aims to provide her customers with a beautiful and memorable floral experience, blending her Burmese roots with modern design sensibilities.
